How We Bring Your Vision to Life

Whether it’s a minor kitchen upgrade or a full home makeover, you can sit back and relax as we guide you through our expert remodeling and construction process.

Planning

Step 1: Free Consultation

It all starts with a free consultation where we get a clear idea of what you’re looking for and gather all the necessary information for the project. Our consultations can take place virtually or in-person, depending on your preferences.

Step 2: Design

Once we understand your remodeling and construction needs, we’ll draft up custom designs for your new space. Designs are typically provided in 2D, but we can also provide a 3D version to give you a better feel for what your space will look like.

(Already working with a designer or have an existing design you’d like to use? No problem. We can collaborate with your designer or take your existing design and make it a reality.)

Step 3: Estimate & Proposal

If you’re happy with the proposed designs, we’ll send you a project estimate and proposal for the project. What you see is what you get with us, and we stay true to the estimates we provide.

Pre-Construction

Step 4: Final Plans

Once you’ve accepted the proposal, our next step is to create the final plans we’ll use to obtain permits and start construction. The types of plans we create vary depending on the size and scope of your project, along with any specific permit requirements in your areas.

Step 5: Permits

With the correct plans in place, we’ll secure any necessary permits needed for your remodel. We’re familiar with building and construction regulations throughout the Bay Area and will take care of the entire process for you.

Step 6: Materials & Timelines

After your permits are secured, we’ll get to work on ordering all the necessary materials for your project. At this point, we will also start scheduling the work and give you an accurate timeline for when your project will be finished.

(Our team will handle both purchasing the materials and scheduling deliveries. Other than confirming the materials you want to use during the design phase, you won’t have to lift a finger.)

Construction

Step 7: Demolition

Unless it’s a completely new build, our construction process for remodels typically starts with demolition. We’ll take down and remove any existing structures that will be replaced – all while ensuring your home stays clean and free of debris at the end of the day.

Step 8: Preparation

This is where we lay the groundwork for your new space. We’ll make sure all of the necessary materials are in place and complete any framing or structural work that needs to be done.

Step 9: Installation

We’ll start building your new space with expert craftsmanship and attention to detail. At this point in the construction phase, you’ll already be used to our team showing up on schedule, working hard, and treating both you and your home with the upmost respect.

Quality Control & Handover

Step 10: Touch-Ups

We’re committed to giving you truly flawless work. This means reviewing every inch of your new space, doing any necessary touch-ups, and then double-checking our work before showing you the finished product.

Step 11: Final Walkthrough

We’ll take you through the entire space, allowing you to look over every detail and make sure you’re completely satisfied before we hand it over.

Step 12: Start Enjoying Your Space!

That’s it! Your new space is now ready to be used. With the work complete, you can start enjoying it, making new memories in it, and showing it off to friends and family.

Step 13: We’ve Got Your Back!

Don’t expect us to just finish our work and say goodbye. All of our projects are backed by a 1-year warranty, and we follow up regularly to make sure you are fully satisfied with everything.

     Phoenix Contractors were incredible to work with on my house. As an Interior Designer I work with many contractors and I chose this team because of their attention to detail, transparency and skill to build and create my vision. They were incredibly professional and kept a clean environment, while we lived through the process. They communicated clearly each step and executed them with precision.      I truly enjoyed working with Scott on our project. He was very helpful to us in recommending some design changes to our project that didn't add cost to the project but provided a much better final look. I found Scott to be a man of his word and a consummate professional. The Phoenix team delivered excellent workmanship and I think the word "Meticulous" would be appropriate in describing Scott's work ethic and style. I would not hesitate to hire Scott and the Phoenix team to do additional work/projects at our home.

     Phoenix Contractors was recommended by our neighbor and we couldn't be more pleased. Scott Sullivan is very professional and a pleasure to do business with. I would work with him again. He was very helpful in the planning and his suggestions really made a difference in the final outcome. His staff and subs were top notch as well and no small detail was left unattended. Subject to a few change orders we initiated, the project was in line with the budget. There were very few delays although it did seem like the project went on longer than we expected as we did not have a firm completion date. Patience prevailed in the end and are extremely happy with the finished product.
